The HiE-S390UF from Hyundai is a high-quality solar module designed for utility-scale applications. It is part of the UF M3+ Shingled Technology series, which offers enhanced power generation and performance, especially in low light conditions.
The module utilizes M3+ PERC Shingled Technology, combining shingling and PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) technologies. This results in ultra-high efficiency, better performance in low irradiation, and improved mechanical strength. The module is designed to withstand rigorous weather conditions, including heavy snow and strong wind.
With tempered glass and a reinforced frame, the HiE-S390UF provides both anti-LID (Light Induced Degradation) and PID (Potential Induced Degradation) resistance, ensuring higher actual performance and reliability over its lifetime. It maximizes installation capacity in limited spaces, making it suitable for various solar power projects.
Hyundai's solar modules are tested under harsh environmental conditions such as ammonia and salt-mist to ensure their corrosion resistance. They have been certified by UL and VDE Test Labs, and Hyundai's R&D center is an accredited test laboratory of both UL and VDE.
The HiE-S390UF comes with a reliable 25-year warranty, reflecting Hyundai's commitment to providing long-lasting and high-performing solar products. The warranty covers both product defects and performance degradation. In the initial year, the module guarantees a minimum output of 98.0%, and from the second year onwards, it guarantees a linear warranty with an annual degradation rate of 0.55%p. A minimum performance of 84.8% is ensured up to 25 years.
This mono-crystalline module has a nominal maximum power output of 390W, with an optimum operating voltage of 40.8V and an optimum operating current of 9.56A. It has a short circuit current of 10.03A. The module dimensions are 1646mm x 1140mm x 35mm, and it weighs 20.5kg. It can operate at a maximum system voltage of 1500V and has a max series fuse rating of 20A. The module efficiency is 20.08%, enabling efficient energy conversion.
