Sensor-Card

The integration of up to six sensors into the Fronius DATCOM system is made possible with the Fronius Sensor Card/Box. These sensors can be used to measure parameters such as irradiation, ambient temperature, module temperature, wind speed, and more. By effectively controlling your PV system through the monitoring of irradiation and module temperature, you can quickly detect any deviations in the system's performance. This allows you to maintain a consistently high level of performance. When it comes to choosing the suitable option, you have the flexibility to select either the Box or the Card.

The Fronius Sensor Card/Box provides inputs for a total of six measurement signals. These include two analog inputs specifically designed for two temperature sensors. Additionally, there is one analog input dedicated to evaluating a voltage signal, which can be used, for example, with an irradiation sensor. Furthermore, the Sensor Card/Box offers two digital inputs that can be utilized for various purposes, such as connecting an energy meter and a wind speed sensor. Lastly, one analog input is available for evaluating a current signal ranging from 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA.

To effectively evaluate the data collected by the Sensor Card/Box, a Fronius Datamanager is required. This Datamanager can be either already integrated as a standard feature in the inverter or easily retrofitted afterwards.
